The Importance of Pre-Sentencing Reports

Under Texas law, Community Supervision and Corrections Departments (CSCD) are required to conduct a Pre-Sentence Investigation (PSI) report in criminal cases. However, the law does not prohibit legal counsel from obtaining an independent PSI prepared by a qualified professional. At PSI Counseling & Mitigation, our PSI reports are completed by experienced clinicians with more than 20 years of expertise in preparing CSCD-level investigations.
